We were given the opportunity to be part of the Grand Re-Opening Party in 2013. Working with the existing hotel logo, we developed an Event Identity around it to include the tagline, “Celebrate the Rebirth of a Legend.” This identity utilized the stone work and design on the interior and exterior walls as part of the details, patterns, textures and colors of the final products, as well as a piece of original wood from the Alamo. Our solution resembled the history and iconic uniqueness of this hotel and used this throughout all collateral items including, invitations, save the date, menu and card. We even designed an oversized tea tag mailed as an invitation to a “tea time.”
